Banner of Love Network:
Banner of Love Foundation (BALOF) is an outreach organization set up by Rev. Phil Okunerere to love, support and care for the needy, traumatized, widows, orphans, and the entire oppressed populace.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said in John 15:12,13 “this is my commandment, that ye love one another as I have loved you, greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends”.
Banner of Love Foundation (BALOF) is a non-governmental organization, a Christian relief, development and advocacy organization that has been in existence since the inception of Adoration Family Ministries founded by God’s servant Rev. Phil Okunerere about Eleven (11) years ago.
Banner of Love Foundation (BALOF) was born out of the man of God’s compassion for the needy, sick, poor and less privileged as a result of his personal experience with hardship during his early days.
CHANNELS OF BALON
In order to reach out effectively to people, BALON has channels developed as outreach medium. These are:
Love Channel:
Caring for indigent widows and orphans within and outside the church.
Empowerment channel:
Empowering the youths through financial aid.
Encouragement Channel:
Welfare and Medical aid to the needy.
Discovery Channel:
Discovering and encouraging upcoming artists and talents in the church and beyond.
Help Channel:
Provides aids and relief to victims of disasters.
Lifting Channel:
A lending hand to churches and ministries by providing support morally, financially and spiritually.
Integrity Channel (Ministers Network):
This is a forum for young ministers and pastors for mentorship and discipleship.
Recovery Channel:
This has to do with providing immediate assistant to those involved in road accidents giving them immediate first aid and taking them to hospital for proper medical care.
Revival channel:
This has to do with crusades and outreach programmes in rural area.
To the Glory of God, this organization has been able to touch and affect lives in so many ways ranging from:
- Establishment of an orphanage center (Adoration Orphanage) for abandoned children.
- Provision of bore holes to communities.
- youth empowerment in cash, materials, workshops , seminars etc
- lifting the hands of some Ministers / Churches through payment of church rents and provision of cars to pastors to ease their apostolic duties; among them include power point international churches, Port Harcourt, Abundant life Evangel Mission Port Harcourt, Christ Link Mission Aba, St Mary’s Catholic Church ministers Port Harcourt to mention but a few. - Payment of House rents and provision of accommodation to homeless people.
- Payment of hospital bills for stranded patients.
- Giving of wrappers, food items and materials to indigent widows.
- Giving of relief material and cash to the casualties of the Maidugri/Jos crisis.
- Provision of learning material such as computers and books to St Mary Nursery/Primary School Okwelle.
- awarded Scholarships to indigent scholars up to secondary and tertiary levels
- Pleads and defends the case of innocent victims of injustice and those that were wrongfully accused of crimes not committed
we have been able to do this much single handedly without any support from anybody, organization, Government or partner hence this clarion call to you all for partnership/support in any form

Interestingly, BALON is an organization that welcomes many partners who want to share in the common purpose of reaching out to support fellow men and women, who do not have hope for their daily needs.
Hence, we enjoin everyone who have the hunger to affect or help the less privileged in the society to be a part of this initiative, so that we can collectively affect more lives in our generation and also to empower the generation to come through welfare administration.
